2012 Tabla Workshop with Samir Chatterjee
Dates : June 30th, July 1st , 2nd, 3rd & 4th (Saturday - Wedensday)
Schedule: Daily three sessions : 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.; 2.00 - 5.00 p.m. and 6 to 9 pm. (1p.m. - lunch break, 5 p.m. - snack break)
Location: Chhandayan Center for Indian Music, 4 West 43rd Street, Room 616, New York, NY 10036 (between 5th and 6th avenues)
Fee : $450 for 5 days, $ 360 for any 4 days, $270 for any 3 days and $180 for any 2 days.
Registration : Advance registration is needed. Register by April 30th, 2012 and get 10% discount. Payment can be made by cash, check and credit card. Capacity is limted to 20 students.
No registration will be accepted for July 4th only.
Students of all levels and different teachers are welcome. Please contact us at chhandayan@tabla.org with your contact information and background information in Tabla.
Students are required to bring their own tabla set, a note book and small recording device.
Students can bring their own food or can buy it locally.
